The Bunny Ears cactus also commonly known as the Polka Dot cactus, is a striking species of cactus belonging to the prickly pear cactus group

This plant will need a well-draining cactus or succulent soil mix And will require a well draining pot to keep moisture off of the roots

Allow the soil to dry out completely between waterings And use a balanced cactus fertilizer during the growing season

Like all cactus, the Bunny Ears will need bright, indirect sunlight to partial shade It will also thrive in average to warm temperatures (60-85°F / 15-29°C)

During winter reduce watering and keep the plant in a cool location This allows it to rest

Use gloves and tongs to remove glochids or spines  Pad cuttings or offsets can be used for propagation

Watch for mealybugs or spider mites and treat if necessary
